The Sixth China International “Internet+” University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest has ended. The gold medal was awarded to the project “Cystinuria catcher-autologous stem cell capturing scaffold for urinary tract reconstruction after bladder cancer surgery in urine environment,” which was co-directed by Professor Zhou Qihui and Niu Haitao, Dean of the First Clinical Medical College of Qingdao University (Figs. 1 and 2).
In addition, the silver prize was awarded to the project “Innovative ‘thin’ path-a new high-throughput screening biomaterial interface platform,” which was co-directed by Professor Zhou Qihui and Professor Yuan Changqing, Director of the Department of Dental Medicine at Qingdao University Affiliated Hospital (Figs. 3 and 4).
At the same time, Zhou Qihui, who was the team’s first instructor, was awarded the title of outstanding instructor. The excellent results achieved by the BMTM research team in this competition benefited from the cooperation of project leader and team members. Gratitude was expressed to the Institute of Translational Medicine and the School of Stomatology for their support in the defense and selection of the scientific research platform.
