Regenerative medicine is an important part of translational medicine research. It refers to the use of biological and engineering methods to repair or create dysfunctional or damaged tissues and organs to make them have a normal structure and function. Our center focuses on major national strategic needs and tries to make breakthroughs using key core technologies, research on the role of stem cells, exosomes, and biomimetic membrane technology in various physiological and pathological processes, especially by capitalizing on their roles in the regulation, treatment, and repair of cardiovascular diseases. The purpose of our center is to combine basic theoretical innovation research approaches to solve clinical practical problems, to explore the transformation of regenerative medicine in cardiovascular diseases, and to drive the strong development of industry–academia research. Our center is a multidisciplinary research team that integrates clinical medicine, molecular imaging, molecular biology, cytology, materials science, and surgery. We welcome you to join our team.
Main Research Interests:
1. The regulatory mechanism of cardiomyocyte division and proliferation;
2. The molecular mechanism and gene therapy of heart and vascular diseases;
3. The application of stem cells in heart and vascular diseases;
4. The application of exosomes and biomimetic membrane technology in heart and vascular diseases;
5. Development of auxiliary devices for cardiovascular diseases.
