Resume:
CHU Xianming, Ph.D., is a professor in cardiology, and is now the Vice President of the Affiliated Cardiovascular Hospital of Qingdao University and the Vice Director of Cardiology Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. He is also the National Committee Member of Chinese Society of Electrocardiography and Vice Chairman of Pacing Electrocardiogram Working Committee of Chinese Electrocardiology Society. Professor CHU is interested in the regulation of vascular endothelial cell function, the programmed cell death (apoptosis, pyroptosis and ferroptosis) of cardiomyocytes, noncoding RNAs in the repair of cardiomyocytes and therapeutic effect of mesenchymal stem cell. He is also dedicated to exploring the mechanisms of various cardiovascular diseases and promoting the application of exosomes derived from stem cells for the diagnosis and therapy of anthracyclines-induced cardiotoxicity. He has published many significant academic achievements and applied several National Natural Science Foundations of China successfully. Professor CHU has been awarded as the Excellent Expert in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing by the Chinese Heart Rhythm Society, Outstanding Young Interventional Physician by Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Excellent Doctor of Shandong Province by Shandong Medical Association.
Research Interests:
Professor CHU is interested in the Basic and clinical studies on the function regulation of vascular endothelial cells and repair of myocardial cell injury.
