On the morning of March 7, 2017, Wang Jianxun, the secretary of the Party Branch of the Institute of Translational Medicine, presided over the organization and life meeting on the theme of “Two Studies and One Action” and conducted a democratic appraisal of the Party members. All Party members and comrades of the Party Branch attended the meeting.

The theme of the meeting was studying and implementing the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee. The focus was on the learning and education requirements of “Two Studies and One Action.” At the meeting, all Party members studied the “Several Guidelines on Inner-Party Political Life under the New Situation” and the “Regulations of the Communist Party of China on Inner-Party Supervision.” The Party Branch Secretary Wang Jianxun conveyed the main spirit of the “Two Studies and One Action” promotion meeting of the school Party committee and the relevant work deployment of the Party trade union of the Medical Department, and he informed the branch about problems and rectification measures. All Party members and comrades earnestly studied the spirit of the document, conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on “Two Studies and One Action,” actively conducted criticism and self-criticism, and conducted a democratic evaluation of Party members.

In light of the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speech at the sixth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, Party Branch Secretary Wang Jianxun put forward that we should conscientiously formulate and improve the learning and education plan of our Party in strict accordance with the requirements of the Party Committee, the school Party committee, and the Ministry of Medicine. Using the “Four Stresses and Four Haves” as the yardstick, all Party members of the Party Branch at our college should identify the gaps and deficiencies in their political qualifications, their implementation of their discipline, and their morality and roles. They should conduct positive and healthy criticism and self-criticism, further strengthen the concept of the Party, improve the cultivation of the Party spirit, and enhance the “Four Consciousness,” especially the core consciousness and alignment consciousness, respect the vanguard and the exemplary role of Party members and comrades, establish a strong sense of responsibility, urgency, mission and sense of ownership, give advice and suggestions for the development of our college, and create a new situation for the development of our college. Party Branch Secretary Wang Jianxun finally stressed that everyone should not slacken but adhere to the study of the Party constitution and rules, further enhance the awareness of politics, the overall situation and alignment, change work style and ensure learning. The meeting came to a successful conclusion with a heated discussion.
