Zhibin Wang, M.D., is a professor in the field of ultrasound medicine, and now is the director of Ultrasound Medical Center of Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. He is also a member of editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Ultrasound Imaging. Currently, Wang’s research interests cover cardiac function and hemodynamics by echocardiography, the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and the function of non-coding RNA in cardiovascular disease. His main specialty is ultrasound diagnosis of all heart diseases, especially in the fileds of artificial heart valves, myocardial ischemia and congenital heart malformations, he has his own unique diagnostic advantages. His research “Experimental and clinical studies on the evaluation of left ventricular diastolic function by early diastolic flow velocity and wave intensity analysis” and “Basic and clinical studies on the estimation of left ventricular function and hemodynamics by Doppler ultrasound” have reached the international leading level, and awarded the first prize of Shandong University Excellent Scientific Research Achievement and the first prize of Shandong Medical Science and Technology Innovation Achievement. He is the chief translator of Feigenbaum’s Echocardiography and Abdominal Ultrasound Diagnosis.
