Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) play a vital role in the occurrence and development of many diseases in humans. Bioinformatics analysis of ncRNA high-throughput sequencing data will provide an important basis for the study of ncRNA-based precision treatment and disease pathogenesis. The Center mainly carries out ncRNA bioinformatics research, including the acquisition, analysis, integration and interaction network construction of ncRNA high-throughput sequencing data, and establishes a technical system for data analysis and mining of ncRNA bioinformatics.
The research directions of the Center include:
1. High-throughput screening of differentially expressed ncRNAs in cancers and predict their biological function and regulatory networks.
2. Explore the role of ncRNA-related competitive endogenous RNA regulation patterns in the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases.
3. Preliminary screening of diagnostic markers for cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
