The Center for Molecular Therapy
The Center for Molecular Therapy aims to study the theranostic applications and molecular mechanisms of chronic diseases at the molecular and living levels. The center’s research focus is to develop novel theranostic strategy of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer and neurological diseases using the integrated approach of molecular image, molecular biology, cell biology, nanomedicine, biochemistry, and life analysis chemistry. Thereby providing the theoretical and practical basis for development in the field of precision medicine and personalized medicine.
Our current research interests are as follows:
1. Exploring the application of integrated nanoprobes for diagnosis and therapy in cardiovascular diseases and its molecular mechanism
2. Exploring the application of “smart” nanoprobes in cancer molecular imaging, molecular therapeutics, image-guided therapy and efficacy evaluation;
3. Exploring tumor microenvironment-responsive targeted therapies for chronic disease such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer and neurological diseases.
